Phillip Muskett

Philip plays 1st Baritone in the Band. 

Philip is a Divorcee, but is amazingly happy living with Sue (Cornet). He started playing with the Aylsham Salvation Army 51 years ago and was taught by Doug Norton. Philip has always loved playing the Euphonium

Phillip says his most memorable brass band moment must be;

"Playing his first Solo at an open air meeting in Sheringham"

Scott also plays 1st Baritone in the Band although is currently away at University

John Hobday

John plays 2nd Baritone in the Band

Joan Howe

             Joan also plays 2nd Baritone in the Band

Joan was born in Ilford, Essex and is a young 72 year old. She is married with 3 adult children, only her daughter Alison stills plays music, and is the Flugel horn player in this band. The instrument Joan plays in this band is the Baritone of which she jokingly says “I try and play the Baritone”.

Joan has played the flute since the age of 14, and still plays the flute in the Sillars Light Orchestra, and Dennis Light Orchestra.
